Great opportunity: we are hiring a production line operator in Orleans County, Vermont. You will be based in a packaging factory. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
