Scaffold fitter — DeWitt County

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in DeWitt County, Illinois. You will be based on a residential housing development. The role involves hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid. Requirements: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
