Formwork carpenter — Davis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Davis County, Iowa. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Day to day you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs.
