Crane rigger — Winneshiek County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Winneshiek County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
