Hoist operator — Brooks County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Brooks County, Texas. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
