Line cook • Nacogdoches County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a line cook in Nacogdoches County, Texas. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies The role involves: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
