Flatlock machine operator • Calabar South, Cross River State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Calabar South, Cross River State. You will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
