Cement mason wanted in Tofa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Tofa, Kano State. The job is on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
