Deboner — Tama County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a deboner in Tama County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
