Motor grader operator — Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Jackson County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise The role involves top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; stockpile and spread material to the required levels.
