Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Tunica County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Your main tasks: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
