Mechanical press operator — Nodaway County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Nodaway County, Missouri. You will work on the press shop floor. You will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
