Immediate opening: sewing machine operator (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Muscatine County, Iowa. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
