Kitchen steward — LaGrange County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in LaGrange County, Indiana. The job is in a hospital canteen. What we are looking for: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Day-to-day duties: • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass 2+ years on the tools preferred.
