Crane rigger — Ganjuwa

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Ganjuwa, Bauchi State. You will be based at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
