Vacancy available: insulation installer (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring an insulation installer in Dallas County, Iowa. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. On the job you will handle: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
