Prep cook wanted in Butte County

Join our team: we are hiring a prep cook in Butte County, California. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Your main tasks: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
