Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Iseyin, Oyo State. On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 5+ years on the tools preferred.
