Ironing operator — San Augustine County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in San Augustine County, Texas. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
