Vacancy available: CNC milling operator (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Orange County, New York. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 4+ years on the tools preferred. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
