Reinforcement steel fixer — Gage County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Gage County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Rotating shifts.
