Immediate opening: brickwork mason (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Warren County, Ohio. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day to day you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
