You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings On a typical shift you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; set up and start the machine as per the job card; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift.
