Fabricator-welder • Magumeri, Borno State

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Magumeri, Borno State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
