Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Jeff Davis County, Georgia. You will be based at an auto components factory. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
