Rigger • Ajingi, Kano State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Ajingi, Kano State. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
