Urgent requirement: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Greene County, Indiana. The job is at a busy building site. Requirements: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Able to read construction drawings and specifications The role involves: • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application 3+ years on the tools preferred.
