Semi-automatic welder — Wiltshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Wiltshire, England. On a typical shift you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £6,100 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
