Press setter operator wanted in Lowndes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press setter operator in Lowndes County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading 1+ years on the tools preferred. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
