Press operator — Athens County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Athens County, Ohio. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; record output and downtime on the production sheet; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Full-time, day shift.
