On a typical shift you will mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust.
