Stitching operator wanted in Tioga County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Tioga County, New York. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Rotating shifts.
