Argon welding operator — Swisher County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Swisher County, Texas. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Six days a week, one day off.
