Flatlock machine operator — Essex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Essex County, Vermont. The job is at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching 3+ years on the tools preferred.
