Vacancy available: we are hiring a JCB operator in Tompkins County, New York. Day to day you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs 3+ years on the tools preferred.
