Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Carroll County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
