Ironing operator — Howard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Howard County, Indiana. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press.
