Brickwork mason wanted in Cass County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Cass County, Illinois. The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
