Toolroom milling operator — Highland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Highland County, Ohio. The job is in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
