We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Grainger County, Tennessee. The job is in a supermarket meat department. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Your main tasks: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Rotating shifts. $9,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
