Argon welder • Izard County, Arkansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Izard County, Arkansas. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
