Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The job is at a residential building site. The role involves buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
