Immediate opening: milling machine operator (Nebraska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Pierce County, Nebraska. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Rotating shifts.
