Steam press operator wanted in Washington Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Washington Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a garment factory. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
