Lift installation engineer • Kent County, Rhode Island

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Kent County, Rhode Island. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces The role involves rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
