Panel painter — Lake County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel painter in Lake County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
