Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Pike County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Six days a week, one day off.
