Groundskeeper — Ado-Ekiti

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The job is in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
