Backhoe operator — Harper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Harper County, Oklahoma. You will be based on a housing development site. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Six days a week, one day off.
