Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Lee County, Illinois. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day to day you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
